About

We review vinyl records, no cds or mp3 files or any of that. We are into records: collecting them, reading discographies, pre-ordering the stupid colored version and haunting dusty record store bins. In general, we spend way too much time concerned with this sort of thing.

And it’s almost just as fun to share what we find with other people and let them know where they can find them too. So we do this.

If you have something you’d like us to review, if it’s appropriate and you haven’t insulted us with some mutilated cutout promo thing (we’re not going to sell your shit), we’ll probably give it some space.

More than you wanted to know:

Manifold records was once a record store and label, starting back in 1993. You can find a fairly accurate discography of it at http://www.discogs.com/label/Manifold+Records. We closed the store in 2008 but we may return to the label for releases at some point.

We do, however, have a new label with a somewhat indulgent schedule (basically only if we find something that we think humanity will not survive being deprived of). You can see that over at www.wemaderecords.com .
